Product Details

The Peak Limestone rock climbing guidebook describes the best Trad rock climbing and sport climbing found on the limestone crags in the Peak District.

In total the guidebook describes over 3,000 routes all over the Peak District, across a wide range of grades. 30 different crags are covered from Trad classic such as High Tor, Beeston Tor and Stoney Middleton, to the sport venues of Horseshoe Quarry, Masson Lees, and Intake Quarry.

The 30 crags covered are as follows:
Horseshoe Quarry, Horse-Thief Quarry, Stoney West, Stoney Middleton, Hidden Quarry, Deep Rake, Moss Rake, Smalldale, Harpur Hill, Staden Quarry, Chee Dale, Raven Tor, Water-cum-Jolly, Ravensdale, Aldery Cliff, Rheinstor, Wolfscote Dale, Manifold Valley, Beeston Tor, Dovedale, Masson Lees, Pic Tor, Lorry Park Quarry, High Tor, Long Tor Quarry, Wildcat, Willersley, Colehill Quarry, Intake Quarry, and Harborough Rocks.

All the routes are illustrated on colour photo topos along with a description, with English grades used for the Trad routes and French grades for the sport routes. At the start of each area there is a location map, and for each crag there is an approach description and a general overview of the crag and type of rock climbing to be found there. In this new edition all the crags have been re-photographed using the latest technology, to give clearer topos, along with better maps and enhanced descriptions.

Published by Rockfax in June 2020 (revised 4th edition), this Peak Limestone guidebook describes more than 700 routes than the previous edition.
